How Facebook Changed The World The Arab
HOW FACEBOOK CHANGED THE WORLD THE ARAB
BBC Documentary, 2011
Excerpts:
In fact the Tunisian bloggers have
access to one of the most advanced internet infrastructure in th Arab world.
A quarter has broadband, 90% of Tunisian has mobile phone.
Ben Ali ruled over this country over for 24 years,
but it took just 28 days from the first protest in the small southern town
to the fall of regime.
The idea was if we spoke directly face to face
the taxi driver
he might start argue and debating with us
so would not be very useful.
But if i speak with someone for my movement
using the phone in front of the taxi driver
he'll feel he has overheard the secret
and that will create some intrigue.
